HOW CUTE ARE THESE MONKEYS?
My littlest Love ADORES the 5 Little Monkeys book. Being the last of four, she hasn’t been the recipient of as many fun “makes” as the older ones, so I wanted to knit her something extra special for Christmas. I searched for a sock monkey pattern I liked and nothing quite fit, so I designed my own and now you can knit them, too!
The pattern is knit in worsted weight yarn and comes with, well, SIX different monkeys you can knit. You can choose a jaunty beret, a pom-pom hat, a cowboy hat, a stocking cap, a trappers hat with adorable ear flaps, or a bare-headed monkey.
The pattern even includes directions for a wire armature to make your monkeys posable (but please not for the littlest ones).
